Catherine McFarland


Catherine McFarland has represented Site Selection Magazine as a Regional Marketing Director, since November 2000. Cathy is responsible for promoting Site Selection Magazine and the entire range of SiteNet web products to Economic Development Agencies, Corporate Real Estate Executives and Developers. Her extensive territory expands from Ontario, through the middle of the United States, Costa Rica, El Salvador &
The Caribbean. During this time she has exceeded revenue goals, produced award winning marketing materials, and contributed to Site Selection‘s record growth. Site Selection is the only economic development publication to increase both profits and market share.

Prior to joining Site Selection, McFarland was the publisher of
New Homes America, a real estate magazine. Cathy was responsible for a large marketing department of a well-known Atlanta Brokerage that had over 100 agents. She conducted seminars on marketing, advertising and successful business practices. New Homes America consistently won Best of Marketing Awards from the HomeBuilders Association.

Cathy McFarland received her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a MBA from Webster University.
She has a real estate license, is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and maintains memberships in several economic development associations.
