In his long career, McKinley Conway has produced breakthrough studies of airport cities, jet thrust-control, ocean energy, wind farms, a global highway, solar arrays, desalting plants, sports venues, habitat restoration, space hotels, eye cameras, aqua cities, man-powered flight, domed arctic subdivisions, decoplex waste use, and many other innovative ideas. Ocean energy
Ocean energy surges forward as exciting source of alternate power. New technology promises to utilize a resource that is plentiful, cheap, and renewable with no emissions. In systems that show promise, electric generators are being driven by tidal action, wave motion, stream currents and/or heat transfer. October 2007.
Choice sites of the future? The biggest problem on Planet Earth today is control of population growth. The United Nations has failed to establish a workable global program. Few nations other than China have even attempted to launch their own plans. There's a revolution underway in capturing energy from the ocean, the winds and the sun. Huge new projects that require a lot of hardware are being planned and built. The market for photovoltaic cells is growing fast. There's a new worldwide competition in making wind turbines. The next big marketing breakthrough will be in undersea turbines.
