    AGCO establishes a new
    production location in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany

    AGCO, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced that a new production location will be established in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Following intensive investigation of various locations in Europe, the decision was made in favour of Hohenmölsen - influenced positively by the active support of the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the investment agency of Saxony-Anhalt.

    The new site is located near the town of Halle in the tri-state region of Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. In the first stage, the assembly of components for Fendt tractors and harvesting machines is planned for Hohenmölsen. In later stages, the facility will be used for the production of components for other brands in the AGCO Corporation.

    In the starting phase some 50 employees will work there. Job advertising will begin in the upcoming weeks. If the project progresses according to plan, 150 jobs will be created at the location in the medium to long term.

Well known, expanding CPA firm is seeking a Real Estate Tax Senior Manager to take a high profile role in helping to run the Real Estate Division within the tax department.  This is a highly visible position and has strong partnership potential.

    Responsibilities include:

  • Performing consulting and compliance services for corporations, partnerships and individuals with a strong emphasis on commercial real estate clients
  • Identifying tax planning strategies to optimize the clients’ tax issues
  • Reviewing work prepared by staff
  • Supervising, training and evaluating advanced level staff
  • Coordinate IRS and all applicable state and local income and sales tax audits
  • Co-responsibility with partners with billing and staff utilization
  • Maintaining strong client relationships
  • Maintaining knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect your client
  • Knowledge of recent tax developments and their affect on your clients
  • Developing solid client relationships
