Elk Point, S.D.
Little Town, Big Changes: The 3,882-acre (155-hectare) Hyperion Energy Center would be 12 miles (19 km.) north of Elk Point, S.D. (pictured) - and it would be twice as large as the small city.

Elk Point, S.D. Still Vroom to Grow: Cars still flourish in the Motor City, as evidenced by the Dodge Viper SRT10 (pictured) assembled by hand at Chrysler's Detroit plant. Michigan officials, in fact, believe that such facilities are the wave of the future for high-tech, advanced manufacturing.

There's more expansion news online in global project coverage from London-based partner Oxford Intelligence. This week's installment includes:
  • "Fujifilm to Launch Indian Subsidiary"
  • "SAP Expands R&D in Shanghai"
  • "SuperVisual Opens Office in Spain"
  • "Pindar Opens French Office"
  • "Outokumpu Expands Centre in France"
