Fidelity Investments' latest growth surge is all about size writ large. The nation's largest mutual fund company, with US$1.3 trillion of assets under management, has decided to add 2,000 well-paying jobs inside the biggest research park in the U.S. North Carolina helped seal the deal to enlarge its burgeoning financial services industry by ponying up its own hefty investment: a $69-million incentive package.

TRIANGLE TIME: Carolina's $69-million subsidy package was "very important," explained Fidelity's Don Haile (bottom left), in the decision to build a $100-million campus in Research Triangle Park, home to a host of business heavyweights like GlaxoSmithKline (right) and Aventis (left).

Many states can claim central location. But Kentucky takes it a step further. We've got the United Parcel Service's $1 billion-plus global air hub.

This means Kentucky businesses can get their products, papers and packages into the stream of commerce later in the day than just about anywhere else in America. And that means they get to their destinations that much faster.

Add to that one of the top workforce training programs in the nation, the cheapest electricity in America, and an attractive quality of life, and you'll find that Kentucky is a slam-dunk. Contact us at 800-626-2930 or visit www.thinkkentucky.com.

OK EXPANSION: One jumbo-size project that's unfolding in southeast Oklahoma is a new $1.2-billion coal-fired power plant that's being built next to this existing plant near Ft. Towson.
